Meet the Principal

Dear Carver  Family,  

The George Washington Carver Elementary School’s Faculty and Staff welcomes you to the 2007-2008 School year.  We look forward to providing your child(ren) with a well planned instructional program designed to improve student performance.  We will also highlight our student’s progress in the Spanish and Italian languages and encourage their participation in our enrichment programs. We need your support, involvement and cooperation in order to achieve the goals of the school district and the state.

This year’s theme at Carver Elementary is “Teamwork makes the Dream work” sets the pace for our goal of providing a learning environment that academically challenges our students.  Additionally, we will promote activities and programs that offer opportunities for positive social and emotional growth.  We invite all parents to take an active role in this shared responsibility.

 Our PTA is a very important part of our school team.  We invite and encourage your involvement.  PLEASE JOIN THE PTA!

If we are to ensure that our children become “Lifelong Learners” we must establish open and ongoing communication between the home and the school.  Throughout the school year, I will be providing various forms of correspondence to you with our Thursday Communicator; which is our weekly form of communication.  As always, you may feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.
